فِي جَنَّاتٍ وَعُيُونٍ "Gardens and Springs, |
146 أَتُتْرَكُونَ فِي مَا هَاهُنَا آمِنِينَ "Will ye be left secure, in (the enjoyment of) all that ye have here?- |
145 وَمَا أَسْأَلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍ إِنْ أَجْرِيَ
إِلَّا عَلَى رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ "No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the Lord of the Worlds. |
144
فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ "So fear Allah, and obey me. |
143 إِنِّي لَكُمْ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٌ "I am to you a messenger worthy of all trust. |
142 إِذْ قَالَ
لَهُمْ أَخُوهُمْ صَالِحٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ Behold, their brother Salih said to them: "Will you not fear (Allah)? |
141 كَذَّبَتْ ثَمُودُ الْمُرْسَلِينَ The Thamud (people) rejected the messengers. |
140 وَإِنَّ
رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الرَّحِيمُ And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. |
139 فَكَذَّبُوهُ
فَأَهْلَكْنَاهُمْ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَةً وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ So they rejected him, and We destroyed them. Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. |
138 وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمُعَذَّبِينَ "And we are not the ones to receive Pains and Penalties!" |
