227 إِلَّا الَّذِينَ
آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ وَذَكَرُوا اللَّهَ كَثِيراً وَانتَصَرُوا مِن
بَعْدِ مَا ظُلِمُوا وَسَيَعْلَمُ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا أَيَّ مُنقَلَبٍ يَنقَلِبُونَ Except those who believe, work righteousness, engage much in the remembrance of Allah, and defend themselves only after they are unjustly attacked. And soon will the unjust assailants know what vicissitudes their affairs will take! |
226 وَأَنَّهُمْ يَقُولُونَ مَا لَا يَفْعَلُونَ And that they say what they practise not?- |
225 أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّهُمْ فِي كُلِّ وَادٍ
يَهِيمُونَ Seest thou not that they wander distracted in every valley?- |

وَالشُّعَرَاء يَتَّبِعُهُمُ الْغَاوُونَ And the Poets,- It is those straying in Evil, who follow them: |
223 يُلْقُونَ السَّمْعَ وَأَكْثَرُهُمْ كَاذِبُونَ (Into whose ears) they pour hearsay vanities, and most of them are liars. |
222 تَنَزَّلُ عَلَى
كُلِّ أَفَّاكٍ أَثِيمٍ They descend on every lying, wicked person, |
221 هَلْ أُنَبِّئُكُمْ عَلَى مَن تَنَزَّلُ الشَّيَاطِينُ Shall I inform you, (O people!), on whom it is that the evil ones descend? |
220 إِنَّهُ هُوَ السَّمِيعُ
الْعَلِيمُ For it is He Who heareth and knoweth all things. |
219 وَتَقَلُّبَكَ فِي السَّاجِدِينَ And thy movements among those who prostrate themselves, |
218 الَّذِي
يَرَاكَ حِينَ تَقُومُ Who seeth thee standing forth (in prayer), |
