217 وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى الْعَزِيزِ الرَّحِيمِ And put thy trust on the Exalted in Might, the Merciful,- |
216 فَإِنْ عَصَوْكَ فَقُلْ إِنِّي
بَرِيءٌ مِّمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ Then if they disobey thee, say: "I am free (of responsibility) for what ye do!" |
215 وَاخْفِضْ
جَنَاحَكَ لِمَنِ اتَّبَعَكَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ And lower thy wing to the Believers who follow thee. |
214 وَأَنذِرْ عَشِيرَتَكَ الْأَقْرَبِينَ And admonish thy nearest kinsmen, |
213 فَلَا تَدْعُ مَعَ اللَّهِ إِلَهاً آخَرَ فَتَكُونَ
مِنَ الْمُعَذَّبِينَ So call not on any other god with Allah, or thou wilt be among those under the Penalty. |
212 إِنَّهُمْ
عَنِ السَّمْعِ لَمَعْزُولُونَ Indeed they have been removed far from even (a chance of) hearing it. |
211 وَمَا يَنبَغِي لَهُمْ وَمَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ It would neither suit them nor would they be able (to produce it). |
210 وَمَا تَنَزَّلَتْ بِهِ
الشَّيَاطِينُ No evil ones have brought down this (Revelation): |
209 ذِكْرَى وَمَا كُنَّا ظَالِمِينَ By way of reminder; and We never are unjust. |
208 وَمَا أَهْلَكْنَا مِن قَرْيَةٍ إِلَّا
لَهَا مُنذِرُونَ Never did We destroy a population, but had its warners - |
