42 أُوْلَئِكَ هُمُ الْكَفَرَةُ الْفَجَرَةُ Such will be the Rejecters of Allah, the doers of iniquity. |
41 تَرْهَقُهَا قَتَرَةٌ Blackness will cover them: |
40 وَوُجُوهٌ
يَوْمَئِذٍ عَلَيْهَا غَبَرَةٌ And other faces that Day will be dust-stained, |
39 ضَاحِكَةٌ مُّسْتَبْشِرَةٌ Laughing, rejoicing. |
38 وُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ مُّسْفِرَةٌ Some faces that Day will be beaming, |
37 لِكُلِّ امْرِئٍ مِّنْهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ شَأْنٌ
يُغْنِيهِ Each one of them, that Day, will have enough concern (of his own) to make him indifferent to the others. |
36 وَصَاحِبَتِهِ وَبَنِيهِ And from his wife and his children. |

وَأُمِّهِ وَأَبِيهِ And from his mother and his father, |
34 يَوْمَ يَفِرُّ الْمَرْءُ مِنْ أَخِيهِ That Day shall a man flee from his own brother, |
33 فَإِذَا جَاءتِ الصَّاخَّةُ At length, when there comes the Deafening Noise,- |
