101 وَلَا صَدِيقٍ حَمِيمٍ "'Nor a single friend to feel (for us). |
102
فَلَوْ أَنَّ لَنَا كَرَّةً فَنَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ "'Now if we only had a chance of return we shall truly be of those who believe!'" |
103 إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَةً وَمَا كَانَ
أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ Verily in this is a Sign but most of them do not believe. |
104 وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الرَّحِيمُ And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. |
105 كَذَّبَتْ
قَوْمُ نُوحٍ الْمُرْسَلِينَ The people of Noah rejected the messengers. |
106 إِذْ قَالَ لَهُمْ أَخُوهُمْ نُوحٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ Behold, their brother Noah said to them: "Will ye not fear (Allah)? |
107
إِنِّي لَكُمْ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٌ "I am to you a messenger worthy of all trust: |
108 فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ "So fear Allah, and obey me. |
109 وَمَا أَسْأَلُكُمْ
عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍ إِنْ أَجْرِيَ إِلَّا عَلَى رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ "No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the Lord of the Worlds: |
110 فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ
وَأَطِيعُونِ "So fear Allah, and obey me." |
