61 فَلَمَّا تَرَاءى الْجَمْعَانِ قَالَ أَصْحَابُ مُوسَى إِنَّا لَمُدْرَكُونَ And when the two bodies saw each other, the people of Moses said: "We are sure to be overtaken." |
62 قَالَ
كَلَّا إِنَّ مَعِيَ رَبِّي سَيَهْدِينِ (Moses) said: "By no means! my Lord is with me! Soon will He guide me!" |
63 فَأَوْحَيْنَا إِلَى مُوسَى أَنِ اضْرِب
بِّعَصَاكَ الْبَحْرَ فَانفَلَقَ فَكَانَ كُلُّ فِرْقٍ كَالطَّوْدِ الْعَظِيمِ Then We told Moses by inspiration: "Strike the sea with thy rod." So it divided, and each separate part became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. |

وَأَزْلَفْنَا ثَمَّ الْآخَرِينَ And We made the other party approach thither. |
65 وَأَنجَيْنَا مُوسَى وَمَن مَّعَهُ أَجْمَعِينَ We delivered Moses and all who were with him; |
66
ثُمَّ أَغْرَقْنَا الْآخَرِينَ But We drowned the others. |
67 إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَةً وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم
مُّؤْمِنِينَ Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. |
68 وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الرَّحِيمُ And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. |
69 وَاتْلُ عَلَيْهِمْ
نَبَأَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ And rehearse to them (something of) Abraham's story. |
70 إِذْ قَالَ لِأَبِيهِ وَقَوْمِهِ مَا تَعْبُدُونَ Behold, he said to his father and his people: "What worship ye?" |
